I love to craft - for business and pleasure. Working with paper and haberdashery is my passion. Seeing a discarded item and thinking 'oh, I could use that for...' gives me my trash to treasure mentality.
I have a huge collection of ribbons, beads, braids and buttons. Mostly, I use these items for papercrafts, such as card making, and buttons for artwork (canvas collages). I collect new and old buttons and I love sorting them out into colours and sizes.
I have studied calligraphy since the 1990's, and still continue to attend classes. I also love to doodle with fineliners. This is where my passion for pens, inks and paper stems from. As a small child, I used to make books for my dolls, so I loved to work with paper even way back then.
I'm from a family of crafters, my grandma taught me to crochet, mum taught me to knit, dad taught me so many other crafting skills - including sewing, basic woodwork and the importance of having good hand writing.
Also, I am a crazy cat lady.

I've just spent a happy afternoon getting creative with the lovely selection of fabrics, ribbons, buttons, sequins, beads, you name it, in the Slow Stitch Kit in night sky colourway. All very high quality pieces and long or large enough to be useful as well as inspiring. The colour combination is very well thought out and I would recommend these kits for anyone who'd like to make something but is not quite sure how to start. Delivery was reassuringly swift and the kit is beautifully packaged.

Fantastic products, I'd been searching for a long time for some writing paper as a gift to my nan and wasn't happy with the choices that were available until I found this beautiful selection.
