Full description

A two colour linocut print of a goat with a quote in Latin. This work is inspired by medieval heraldry and memento mori. The goat is based on a goat illustration seen on coats of arms. The Latin quote, Sum Quod Eris means 'I am what you will become' and is popular on gravestones.

This print has been hand carved into a lino block and then also printed by hand onto Japanese washi paper. The handmade nature of this printing style means each print is unique.

It is a very small edition of 5 prints in this colour way.

Each print is 21cm x 29.7cm and comes unframed and covered in protective packaging.

Designed by Hannah Smith in Totnes
