'Double-collared Sunbird'
This pretty little double-collared sunbird was darting amongst the branches of a George One-color Heath bush in the Kirstenbosch botanical gardens. All sunbirds have such metallic bright colours and make for irresistible inspiration, they love tubular flowers from which they sip nectar.
I have kept this work simple to emphasis the detail in this Dutch Preuss birds' beautiful plumage.
This watercolour and Ink work is painted with Winsor & Newton, and Schmincke watercolour paints an Inks on Arches 140lb CP watercolour paper.
The watercolor is 6.50 x 6.50 inches.
Comes with a white mount and frame, the total size being 11.75 x 11.75 inches
A certificate of Authenticity signed by myself accompanies each original.
The painting will be carefully packaged and dispatched promptly
