Item details

Afternoon tea painting comprises 3 square canvas joined together by thick ivory cord. The top canvas features 3 buns topped with cream, sprinkles and cherry. They sit on a white cake doily with a blue candy striped background. The centre canvas features blue bowl heaped with strawberries and a blue and white jug on a floral cloth. Red and white bunting is strung across the grassy background. The bottom canvas features a slice of iced jam sponge, served on a blue plate which sits on a round white cake doily. The background is blue candy stripe which continues around the sides. Each canvas measures 20cm square. I painted this in my Norfolk studio and it is ready for you to hang. Sweet treats all round! I call this one 'Afternoon Tea II'.

I do love afternoon tea, my daughter and I book this as a special treat sometimes, usually after a girly shopping trip. I wanted to include elements from a garden tea party or fete in 'Afternoon Tea II'. Hopefully we will be able to indulge our love of sweet treats and garden fetes again soon. In the meantime - please enjoy my painting with no calories at all.
