My daughter's first ballet shoe was the inspiration for this painting, although this is a more romantic version. I wanted it to be super pink and girly. I went onto paint her point shoes later when she graduated onto that level. That image has been printed onto mugs that are available to view under mugs in the home-wear folksy search and can be viewed in my 'Emporium' collection on my shop page. I still have that painting because I cannot bare to part with it, however I may have some prints made later. I have only ever sold orininal paintings but I might make an exception for that one.

Full description
Pink ballet shoe painting features one pink ballet shoe positioned down the left hand side. Detail from the inside of the shoe can be seen and pink ribbons cascade and curl down from the shoe into the right hand corner of the painting.There is a pretty sparkly detail around the edge of the ballet shoe and there is a caption 'light on my toes ...' in a flowing line beside the shoe. The background is a paler shade of pink. I painted this in my Norfolk studio. It is mounted, simply framed in lime-washed wood and ready for you to hang. The overall measurement is 37.5cm square and the internal image is 20cm square. I call this one 'light on my toes' for obvious reasons. It is the perfect gift for ballet shoe lovers.
