Hi, a warm welcome to the Dragon Art Glass shop on Folksy. I'm Andrea, a full time glass addict (oops, artist!) living and working in the valleys of South Wales. I've had a little shop here on Folksy since about 2016, but can also often be found at local craft markets and in my studio in Senghenydd.
I always aim to send out orders as quickly as possible, (often within a day), but please be aware that I post only via Royal Mail.
To make things easier for you, I can gladly gift wrap any presents, add a hand-written note and send them directly to the recipient at no extra charge – just leave me a note and details when you checkout.

Having had friends that have lost beloved pets, I know how hard it can be. This makes a lovely small gift of remembrance, and may help them think and remember a much loved pet.

Full description
Fused glass, arched rainbow bridge, suitable for a pet loss gift. I make several versions, including dog and cat versions with or without a short sentence saying "you left your pawprints on our hearts".
Both the dog and cat versions have a small silhouette of the animal and a pair of paw prints.
Each rainbow has colours individually hand cut from sheets of glass, arranged in the rainbow, and fused in the kiln. Once fused, it has to go through a second kiln process in order to give it the arched bridge shape. Finally, when cooled, a mask is made, and added to the rainbow to allow me to sandblast and permanently etch the saying , pawprints and relevant animal silhouette onto the rainbow - making a perfect reminder for a much loved family member.
