I love all birds but the long-tailed tit is a firm favourite as they are such sociable, busy little creatures! They have pretty pink markings which I have tried to replicate in my fused glass version.

These delicate long-tailed tits add cheer to any room, whether they are hanging on a plain wall or in a window. Carefully cut and made to resemble the real one as closely as possible, the bird is strung on invisible cord to give the appearance that it is floating. Ribbon can be added if the piece needs more room to hang, perhaps from a window latch.

These long-tailed tits, which have a slightly textured surface, are approximately 13cm beak to tail and about 4.5cm tall, and come either facing the right or the left. As they are made by hand and it is impossible to get each one identical, a slight variation in markings and colour will occur - this means that yours will be unique!
