Hello and welcome to HalfMoon designs.
Thank you so much for visiting. I hope you enjoy my original paintings and have fun browsing the collections, floral, lingerie and fashion. My artwork is also printed on a selection of mugs and magnetic notepads.

Every one of my paintings starts with a drawing and I have build up quite a collection of sketch books over the years. I have lots of poppy drawings as they grow wild in my local area and also in my garden where the self seed. I love the way the poppy head seems to heavy for the spindly stems as the papery petals flutter in the breeze. I wanted to simplify this small watercolour and just make it about the 2 poppy heads. I also like the slight Art Deco influence with the straight lines.
