Hello and welcome to HalfMoon designs.

I love painting poppies, I have so many sketches of them over the years. They remind my of cycle rides through the Norfolk country side with my grandad. He knew everything about nature and I adored him. He was in the 1st world war, of course. I can't imagine him there, surviving mustard gas attacks and heaven knows what else. He was such a quiet, gentle and kind man. I always wear my poppy with pride. This painting is for you, grandad, I miss you.
