My world of donkeys! Those familiar with my prints might be aware that I create a lot of prints featuring donkeys. I don't think they are championed nearly as much as they should be in the art world, so I feel it is my job to do so. With this print, I was possibly feeling vaguely optimistic about the future, hence the bright tones!

Full description
This is a hand-pulled screen print entitled 'Happenings in Donkey World No.7' printed in blue, pink and yellow.
This is the seventh print in the donkey-world series, a continuation of my donkey theme, and maybe a bit of a detour, in being brightly coloured! As well as the three basic colours, several other colours appear on the print as a result of using transparent inks overlaid on top of each other.
You may have noticed some similarity between this print and No.6 (https://folksy.com/items/7690575-Happenings-in-Donkey-World-No-6-3-colour-A2-screen-print-blue-pink-and-yellow-). That is no coincidence! I had so much fun with the bright colours and transparencies of the last one that I decided to create a little 'companion piece', a little extra adventure..
Like all of my donkey adventure prints I decided to try and create a secret world that only donkeys know about, full of intriguing and slightly confusing features for them to explore (plus an occasional helping hand!).
Blue, pink and yellow System 3 inks on White Seawhite 280gsm acid-free paper. From an edition of 35, signed, titled and numbered.
The print image measures H22.7xW15cm.
The paper measures H29.7xW21cm.
Printed by myself at Hunk Print, Sheffield, UK. Each one is slightly different, as is the nature with screen-prints.
The print will be posted flat in a cellophane sleeve and protective packaging.
