Full description
This oak leaf has been made using a blend of blue/green silk fibres to form a silk paper. A real oak leaf has been used to obtain the imprint of the veins of the leaf. The leaf has been backed with white silk fabric and edged with a variegated thread. Two coordinating acorns have been needle felted, mounted in real acorn cups and attached to the base of the leaf. A silver tone brooch back has been attached to the reverse.
The brooch measures approximately 9cm x 6cm
