I lost my own horse in 2020, and created an ashes memorial painting for her, which is my "Ashes Into Art" creation. This lead me to experimenting further to develop tactile stones to bring comfort when we lose the ones we love. I wanted to create something that could be carried around, without worrying about it breaking if it was dropped. I then started with an ashes heart touchstone, and am creating new designs, this horse shoe being one of them.
Pet ownership is a relationship based upon yin and yang, so my art reflects the happy, joyful times, coupled with the comfort needed at times of great loss

Full description
A horse shoe shaped stone, which is a beautiful momento of your equine friend, which can be mixed with cremation ashes also, to make this a unique item designed to bring comfort.
The stone is sculpted by hand using polymer clay and carefully mixed with your chosen colours and mica powder. The effects created from the combination of materials make it a very unique piece.
The stone measures circa 2.5cmx2.5cm and is circa 0.5cm in depth.
The stones are unique items, and therefore the exact design cannot be replicated, but the colour palette can be chosen to represent your wishes. This could be based upon the colours you chose for your equine in their tack, brushes and rugs, their fur or eye colour. The options are endless
The stones are made and then will be presented in a lovely round wooden box, which can easily fit into your pocket also, or be used to keep a lock of mane or tail with your stone. This keeps your stone safe when you're not holding it. The stones are a lovely tactile piece, won't break if accidentally dropped, and are a lovely memorial piece to represent the love you have for your horse.
Ashes are very carefully mixed to create this item, and I generally talk to them as I'm making them, because the love and care to create these pieces is an important part of the process. Grief and loss are extremely individual, and I wish to bring some comfort at times of great loss
