Whimsical illustrations and creations

I'm Claire and I run The Quaint and Quirky in the Peak District near Buxton.

I've been running my other business - Peak Pet Services since 2014, but when covid 19 caused my Pet Sitting Business to come to a standstill, I had to diversify to survive

I have a fun and childlike imagination, full of characters based upon my pets, those I look after and the nature and wildlife around me. I often spend hours watching a worm wriggling in the earth in my polytunnel, or a butterfly dancing over the catnip. I love to sit and watch the glorious world around me, as I live high on a hill in a little stone cottage in the Peak District National Park. I'm also on the autistic spectrum, so I often notice what everyone else misses, especially when it comes to wildlife. My husband often describes me as a cat, as I seem to notice the sights and sounds around me at the same time they do!

I love to create wonderful and imaginative art, in the form of cute and quirky illustrations, aswell as more serious pieces for pet portraits or ashes memorial keepsakes. I draw and create to bring a smile to your face, or to bring comfort in times of sadness. I create Art from the Heart, and I hope you like what you see.
