I love the look and feel of natural sea glass so I decided to create my own version. Each piece of glass is fired in my kiln at least twice with each firing taking up to 24 hours (and no, it doesn’t use massive amounts of electricity because the kilns are highly insulated and the longest part of each firing is always the cooling phase – when I’m waiting impatiently to open the kiln that can seem to go on forever!).
