I love making individual pottery pieces, and then putting them together with other materials, fish are one of my favourites, over the years I’ve drawn and painted lots of them, and these little two sided decorated fish with the wire hook to hang them into the macramé hanger have just the fun feel that I was looking for.
Each is decorated on both sides and one of the fish will have a little signature and date, it’s lovely to see how the components come together to create the finished piece. Very satisfying!

Three smiley Fish pottery macrame ornament, super for friends and family, it makes the perfect for gift.
Provides a subtle finishing touch for those special spaces in your home. Looks great looped over cupboard doorknobs, windows and door handles, or displayed as a focal point in a bathroom or kitchen.
Hand modelled each is one of a kind with a fresh hand-painted cheeky design inspired by my love of the sea and the traditional British seaside. Cut from a slice of clay, fired in a potter's kiln, then dipped in glaze and hand painted on both sides with professional ceramic colours to fix the design in the final firing. The finishing touch is a macrame string hanger, hand knotted and plaited to complete the design.
The whole piece measures about 32 cm high, each pottery fish is approximately 11cm long.
