I'm inspired by a lot of wildlife native to the UK, especially birds I can see from my garden. I thought a flight of housemartins might make a good linocut subject, and work well alongside my 'swallows' and 'swifts' print. I was also a fan of the band of the same name when I was younger, so that makes me smile when I think of the bird too!

Full description
This is an A3 poster-print entitled 'Housemartins' printed in dark grey and mid blue.
As well as the many swallows and swifts I see a lot round where I live, I occasionally spot a housemartin too! They do look similar to their sky neighbours, but have a distinctive blue shine on their heads and backs. Like my swallows and swifts prints I wanted to capture them at their graceful best in flight.
The poster is a professional digital print of an original linocut. It is printed on high quality 160gsm cream paper, hand-titled and signed.
The poster will be posted securely in a card tube.
