The Wreny Hedge was inspired by a dog walk on a frosty morning where the Hoare frost glittered like diamonds on the hedgerows while wrens looked for food. The wrens are in their element, rulers of this miniature world.

Original design created with acrylic paint on canvas.

A square card (140mm x 140mm) printed digitally on 330gsm card and hand finished. Supplied with a white envelope and a clear cellophane wrapper. Blank inside for your personal message.

Created and made in Somerset.

The Wreny Hedge was inspired by photographs I took of some tiny plants growing in the hedgerow that were decorated with Hoare frost. Like miniature jewels covered in diamonds they were complimented by the tiny wrens hoping through the hedgerow looking for food. I started with no plan for this painting but to paint the tiny plants and it just grew from there.
