When making my felt pictures and landscapes I'm left with many scraps of felt. Too precious to waste ( I make my felt by hand, starting with raw fleece from our North Country Mule sheep) I wanted to design something that I could use them in.

Flower brooch - Shades of grey, brown and pink embellished with a tiny wooden button engraved with the Wonderful Ewe logo.
I designed this brooch to use the scraps of felt left over from my felted pictures. I have layered them with up-cycled tweed and leather, making something beautiful out of scrap materials.
Flower and leaf shaped layers of tweed, leather and felt are sewn together to create a tactile three dimensional flower finished with a cute little walnut button.
Use as a lapel brooch or pin it to your bag or hat.
Lovely gift for Mothers day, birthdays, Christmas, teacher gift or just because you care.
Gift wrapped in tissue, tied with a length of my hand spun art yarn.
Size approx. 7cm x 7cm
