The poem, by American poet Robert Frost (1874-1963) entitled “Nothing Gold can Stay” describes how green Spring turns to Autumn Gold and so, reflecting his words, my mandala stone is a gentle metaphor for the circle of life and how we are all connected and interlinked with Nature and Time.

Full description
A handcrafted paperweight made from CrystalCal plaster and painted in green and gold, featuring a central mandala pattern, surrounded by a twisted ribbon design, with a gentle iridescence. The diameter of this piece is 11cm and the height is 3cm. It weighs 270g. It has been finished with satin varnish for a subtle sheen. I have affixed a non-scratch backing pad to the reverse to protect any surface that it may be placed upon.
