Full description
Handmade pottery thrown on a potter's wheel. This ceramic plate is made from stoneware which means it is very durable. The clay gives a biscuit speckled colour which shows through the white gloss glaze.
The plate is first thrown then left until it is leather hard, then turned and my makers mark added. Once dry it is bisque fired then 2 glazes are applied and it is fired again to 1220 oC. All glazes are lead free. Where the glazes overlap there is a range of colour.

This listing is for 1 mug, all plate are handmade and although I make the pottery in small batches with the same amount of clay and glaze there will be some variation in colour and shape.
Microwave and dishwasher safe though I would recommend hand washing.
