Thanks for visiting our shop. We use up scraps, repurpose materials and prioritise natural new materials. We love colour and our products are attractive, environmentally friendly and useful. We don’t want to be preachy - just to make things that are a pleasure to use.

Anything that helps people reduce their use of single use plastics gets my vote. My daughter had a little snack bag for her toddler and it inspired me to research possible fabrics and designs for making my own sandwich and snack bags.

These little snack bags are ideal to hold a snack on the go for your toddler. The outside is made from attractive cotton fabric and the lining is a food-safe, waterproof fabric known as PUL.- more details below.
The snack bag can be wiped clean or washed by hand or in the machine. You can even smarten it up by running the iron over it! Reduce your use of cling film or single use plastics, save the environment and save money.
These snack bags are constructed similar to a pillowcase. There are no fastenings or velcro to trap crumbs. The flap simply folds over the top of the bag and keeps the contents secure. There is a small loop sewn into the seam so that you can secure the bag, clipping it to your nappy bag or the straps on the buggy or car seat.
We also make sandwich bags to a similar design.
These mini bags measure approximately 9 x 11cm and are ideal to hold a handful of popcorn, small bread sticks, slices of apple or whatever your child prefers.
PUL stands for Polyurethane Laminate. It is a soft, waterproof and breathable fabric that has been manufactured in an environmentally friendly way. It is safe for food use as it does not give off any toxic chemicals. The waterproofing comes from a thin layer of plastic which has been bonded to polyester fabric. It has been tested for at least 300 washes. Whilst the fabric is not totally plastic free, using these products could significantly reduce your use of plastic bags, films and boxes.
