Full description
This pretty necklace is made from elliptical freshwater (or cultured) pearls in a delicate shade of pale peachy pink. Pearls are a timeless classic; they make a lovely gift for ladies of almost any age and they go with both formal and casual outfits. The pearls are 7 to 7.5mm long. They have a smooth surface and very few flaws and were bought as loose pearls grade AAplus. Although they are mainly elliptical in shape some are pointed at one end. They are fairly uniform in colour. They are strung in the traditional way with a tiny knot between each pearl. However I have used nylon instead of the more usual silk as it is stronger and a little less inclined to stretch. The necklace is finished with a sterling silver trigger clasp and fittings.
It is 47cms (18.5ins) long.
It will be sent wrapped in acid-free tissue paper in a sturdy cardboard box for safe travel.
