This tea is a great starting point - firstly it is hydrating, which is always a good thing, and it contains herbs that gently support the detoxification pathways.
Our kidneys can often get neglected - we forget about how much work they do, day in-day out getting rid of what we don't need.
Keeping our bodies flushed through is important for overall health - herbs can be nutritious (rosehips are a good source of vitamin C), and this herbal tea offers gentle support for the urinary system

I use mostly organic, fair wild herbs - some I have harvested & dried myself.

The Christmas season of over-indulgence is over! We now face a bleak January bleary eyed and probably feeling a bit worse for wear!
This is the time of year we want to get rid of the sluggishness, and have a bit of a detox.
Herbal tea is a great & gentle way to start, involving very little effort!
Support your liver and kidneys - our body's key elimination organs & detoxification pathways
For January only - I am bundling my Replenish your...liver, & Replenish your...Kidneys teas as a combo detox package. (Normally £10 if bought individually)
Hydrate yourself, and give yourself a bit of a spring clean with these cleansing and supportive herbs.
Drink the liver tea in the morning to get things moving, and the kidney tea in the afternoon to clear things out.
LIVER TEA:
Ingredients:
Milk thistle, Rosemary, Dandelion leaf & root, Peppermint, Ginger, Calendula.
KIDNEY TEA:
Ingredients:
Astragalus root, Rosehip, Dandelion leaf & root, Meadowsweet, Nettle, Golden rod.
Directions:
Shake bag to mix herbs well
Add 1-2 teaspoons to your teapot
Steep for 10 minutes
Or simmer on the stove for 10 minutes for a stronger brew
Strain into your favourite cup, & give yourself time to relax & switch off
