Eleanor Aquamarine! Lovely super soft hand knitted lacy wide scarf, shawl, or shoulder wrap, in beautiful aquamarine toned yarn. One size fits all!
Knitted in 100% acrylic yarn, on large needles, to give a loose and lacy stitch and soft lacy texture throughout the garment. Perfect to be worn across the shoulders and down the back, can also be worn gathered, as shown in some of the photos, in a thicker scarf effect.
Due to the loose stitch style, it gives and pulls, so does not stay as a true rectangle, but the completed item is totally unique and would be a pretty addition to the wardrobe, to be worn for additional warmth and style.
This shawl or wrap is fine, it has been knitted on large needles to give a loose, lacy look.
I think the item would be suitable for a lady or a gent. A wonderful alternative to a traditional scarf, simply loop around the neck and wear it in a variety of ways.
The approximate measurements of the scarf is 157cms by 45cms but as the knit and yarn is delicate, it gives and stretches so please be aware.
Knitted in a coninuous lines. There are no sewn seams as the item was knitted in one piece. The lovely yarn for this scarf is 100% acrylic yarn so easy to care for, although I would suggest hand washing with care at 30'C, do not wring and air dry, to retain lacy feel and texture.
No animal fibres so suitable for vegans and those with a wool allergies or intolerance.
