I love seed heads of all kinds, nature's parcels for transporting the next generation to new pastures to grow again! I am fascinated by their structure and how many of them dry out, change shape, burst open and their seeds are carried away by the wind.
Lotus seed heads are such beautiful structures. They start off a bright lime green, and gradually crinkle like silk, changing colour through rusts, reds, mauves and maroons to an almost sooty black.
When the seeds disperse, we are left with a trumpet shaped pod, with a network of oval holes, like some ancient natural telephone receiver! I just love them!
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.

These lotus bowls are made from fused glass and as such are very fragile and vulnerable to being chipped or to break if dropped. Please treat with care when handling as items damaged by being dropped by the buyer will not be considered faulty for refund. Variations in colouration and design make each one its own character, and this is intentional. Please note, these gifts are not toys and are therefore unsuitable for small children to play with. All items posted will be safely wrapped to protect them on their journey in tissue paper, cushioned and boxed for posting. Thank you for buying from my small business!

I love the shape and structure of dried lotus seed heads and these bowls are inspired by them!
These are my new decorative "holey" bowls that throw beautiful organic shadows when the light passes through them.
I recycle offcuts of fused glass, to create these bowls carefully combining colours and shapes, and fire them twice in a kiln to make a dainty, lace-y organic glass structure.
Made in a range of subtle colours, this one is sky blue with speckles of other watery tones. A totally original one of a kind gift for nature and lotus lovers! For display and intrigue, they also look great in a group together too! Please see my other listings for alternative colour-ways.
