Full description

Pasta bowl handmade pottery thrown on my potter's wheel. This bowl is made from stoneware which means it is very durable. The clay gives a biscuit speckled colour which exposed on the outside as it has no glaze.

The glaze varies quite a lot from bowl to bowl depending on which shelf in the kiln it goes. Please specify which you like the most and I will try to oblige!

The bowl is first thrown then left until it is leather hard, then turned and I add my makers mark. Once dry it is bisque fired then glazed and fired a second time at 1220 oC. All glazes are lead free.

Bowl diameter about 20 cm

Height about 5 cm

This listing is for 1 bowl, all are handmade and although I make the everything in small batches with the same amount of clay and glaze there will be some variation in colour and shape making everything wonderfully unique.
