All jewellery listed here that says silver is sterling silver, I do not use silver plate at all. There will be elements of sterling silver in every design (except keyrings), some will be completely so, others may have combinations of copper, brass, bronze, glass, enamel, pewter, resin, upcycled biscuit tins and pre-decimal coins and/or semi-precious stones as well. Many of the designs are one-of-a-kind.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.

Full description
A hare brooch cut from sheet pewter that I've etched with a random pattern. Finished with a sterling silver fastener. Approximately 5.5 cms for tip of the nose to end of the foot.
Despatched in a presentation box via the Royal Mail Signed For service in the UK. Care guide provided.
N.B. The pewter that you find today, including the metal I use, does not contain lead anymore, consequently, it's alot shinier than it was historically.
Pewter is an alloy consisting mainly of tin though it also contains very small amounts of copper and antimony. It is definitely lead-free and nickel-free.
The fastener is glued on - pewter fires at a much lower temperature than sterling silver making soldering problematical.
(copper, brass and sterling silver versions are also sometimes available, though prices will be different)
