Item details
The cover design of this pocket sized notebook has been created by using leaves, grasses and fern fronds from my garden.
Each piece of plant material is hand inked and placed between a sandwich of hand coloured, recycled paper, then pulled through an etching press in order to create the images.
I repeated this process numerous times in order to create a full pattern of overlapping leaves and fronds using Prussian blue and Cadmium yellow hue oil basedi inks.
The covers are all hand made and bound by me using the hand printed paper on the exterior of the covers.
As I hand print all the covers for my hard backed notebooks and hand bind them, each one will be unique.
