Hello and welcome or better still welcome back to my little shop.
I hope you'll find that special thing here in the shop as I make everything by hand, welcoming the differences that these techniques bring.
So if its slick, shiny, bright colours you are looking for, that's really not happening here but warm, funny, happy creature lead pieces - you are in the right place. Step in and take a look around.

I can’t put my finger on one reason to love acorns – I seem to have several.
The shape is just perfect, the knobbly lid and the smooth seed. So beautiful. Then the memory of a book I had as a child where the fairies used them to drink whatever fairies drink, who wouldn’t love that? Also the mighty oaks from little acorns quote, it’s the promise of a strong future, of developing and growing.
And finally, who can resist picking fallen acorns up on a lovely autumn walk in the woods. Putting them in my pocket and finding them later, perhaps in the supermarket or somewhere away from the woods. Reassuring me it will all be there when I return and bringing the outdoors in.

Full description
A set of three little acorns, handmade in clay in small batches, and decorated in a rustic style. Each acorn is different, while retaining its particular acorn qualities.
These miniature fruits of nature are made in stoneware clay, coloured with underglaze and washed with oxides to give them a warm natural look.
They make perfect little gifts as they work well as table decorations, particularly for Autumn or Winter tables. Add to a label with a name written on and use as a place marker.
I have started making them with a loop on the lid, making it easy to tie them to a gift tag to make a special present.
They're also a lovely way to bring the outside in, and welcome nature into the house - pop them on a shelf next to your bird-spotting books or on a mantelpiece for a seasonal display.
Each set includes a red, green and brown acorn.
Sizes vary but the largest is at least 3.5 cm long.
Handmade and inspired by all the trees in Sheffield.
I am keen to be as sustainable and eco-friendly as possible, and I try to recycle and reuse packaging but not at the expense of safe travel.
