I have obtained some large millefiore beads and am planning to use them to produce some large, statement jewellery. This is the first brooch; there is a large blue pendant too.

The green enamel is laid over a clear enamel base and the copper of the disc shimmers through. I have fired a large, cuboid, millefiore bead over the green, adding a rough circle of yellow, white, red and pale blue tones. Again these shift in intensity under the light.
The length of firing required for the bead has meant that in places the green enamel has drawn back from the edge of the disc leaving a baked rim.
The diameter of the disc is 50mm. I have soldered a 26mm brooch bar to it. The pin secures with a rotating catch.
Your brooch will be sent by Royal Mail first class, signed for.
