I've made quite a few different variations of flower jewellery, these are similar to a triangular pair of earrings I designed but a bit smaller and they have the amber beads which really glow in the sunlight

Maybe not your traditional yellow buttercup but the idea for these pretty earrings came to me whilst walking through fields scattered with daisies and buttercups and if you hold them under your chin on a sunny day the amber bead will reflect it's colour...yes you do like butter!
The perfect gift for gardeners and flower lovers...they look wonderful in the summer when all the flowers are in bloom or to brighten up a winters day and remind you that the warm weather will soon be with us again.
Made from copper plate cut to shape and hammered to add the texture. The wavy edges are made by using a hammer and dapping tool which forms hollows and spreads the metal.
The flowers are made from copper washers and wire which have been shaped and
soldered in place with polished mother of pearl cemented in the centre to give a nice shimmer.
Copper ear wires with amber beads complete the design and add a touch of colour.
An antique patina has been applied and then polished with silicon wax to seal. They measure approx. 5cm in length and 1cm across.
I use repurposed copper plate and old electrical wire as I love to give something that has a practical use a new lease of life and turn it into something beautiful
