Concertina, accordion sketchbook / notebook covered with one of my Fern handprinted linocut designs. I hand carved my 'Ferns' design into a linocut block and printed in a light green vegetable oil based ink onto beautiful white kozo paper. My printed paper was then mounted onto grey board covers. Paper inside is blank and acid-free with a white, matt surface, 300 gsm, medium-textured. It is ideal for sketching, drawing, watercolour painting, printing, and most other media applications. When folded the cover measures 14cm x 14cm Approximately 134cm when folded out. ©Jacqui Dodds

I started with making a watercolour painting of delicate, fresh ferns and took this for inspiration to carve my design onto the lino block. Then I hand printed these cards in this lovely light green colour with vegetable oil based printing ink.
