G'Day and welcome to my shop of jewellery delights! Due to the new EU General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) rules coming into force from 13 December, I will no longer be shipping to any EU country, which also includes Northern Ireland after this date. Although I ensure all the components I use in my jewellery are safe for consumers, I don't think my business can afford the EU agent that is required.
LAST POSTING DATES: UK - 14 DEC; REST OF WORLD - 1 DEC. Please note, I'm happy to post items after these dates, but delivery speeds can be reduced due to large volume of Christmas post, so Royal Mail cannot guarantee delivery before Christmas.
Here you will find fabric and mixed media jewellery to suit all occasions - from gifts for science fans and tea drinkers to animal lovers and nature lovers!
Due to Royal Mail postage increases in October, I've upgraded all orders within the UK to UK Tracked 48 postage. Other Postage upgrades are available. Items sent overseas are International Standard post, which does not include tracking. Tracked International post is available to add to your order if required.

I am happy to gift wrap and post an order to the recipient if required at no extra cost, so please enter details in the Notes to Seller when ordering!

Featuring in Folklore - Mistletoe was a plant of peace in antiquity. If enemies met by chance beneath it in a forest, they laid down their arms and maintained a truce until the next day. This is thought to be the origin of the ancient custom of hanging a ball of mistletoe from the ceiling and exchanging kisses under it as a sign of friendship and goodwill.
According to the Anglo-Saxons, kissing under the mistletoe was connected to the legend of Freya, goddess of love, beauty and fertility. According to legend, a man had to kiss any young girl who, without realizing it, found herself accidentally under a sprig of mistletoe hanging from the ceiling.

Celebrate winter this year with your very own pair of Mistletoe earrings.
Mistletoe, from the Old English misteltan, is a very symbolic plant woven into the mythology and folklore of Pagans and Druids, Norse Mythology, the Ancient Greeks and Anglo-saxon folklore!
I have decorated these intricately designed and cut mistletoe plywood shapes first with pale sage green artists acrylic paint over the surface, then added layers of green embossing enamel, adding touches of white embossing enamel to the berries. Then I hand painted 3cm circle wooden shapes with a pearl metallic paint, finally attaching these mistletoe shapes to the front of the circles.
To protect the wooden earrings, I added layers of starlight varnish - a clear acrylic varnish with multicoloured glitter embedded in the varnish, to add that extra sparkle. Jump rings and then surgical steel ear wires were attached to the top of the earrings - surgical steel is ultra hypoallergenic, perfect for those with even the most sensitive skin.
These lovely earrings measure 3cm in diameter, approximately 6mm deep, have a 5cm drop and will come to you packed and protected in an eco-friendly, recycled cardboard kraft card earring box and is perfect for a nature lover or someone who would like to have a a pair of excuses to receive a kiss under them!
