Full description

These sweet lino print Mari Lwyd bookmarks vary slightly in size, but are approximately 6"-7" (15-18cm) long and 2" (5cm) wide. They are printed using Caligo Safewash printing ink.

The wassailing tradition of the Mari Lwyd is said to originate in South Wales in the early 1800s and is still performed around Christmas/Yuletide to bring good luck. It is thought to be based on the tradition of the hobby horse (or 'obby oss') and is performed to bring good luck.

Please note, these bookmarks are not laminated.

Price includes postage within the UK.
