These bowls are made with a hearty portion of pasta or ramen but they could equally be used with a lovely salad side dish. They have a simple contemporary shape but a rustic handmade feel as you can see my fingers marks through the glaze. The white of the glaze will bring out the colour of food served in them.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
These bowls are handmade pottery thrown on my potter's wheel. This bowl is made from stoneware which means it is very durable. The clay gives a biscuit speckled colour which shows through the white gloss glaze, the outside has glaze half way down.
The bowl is first thrown then left until it is leather hard, then turned with a foot ring and I add my makers mark. Once dry it is bisque fired then glazed and fired a second time at 1220 oC. All glazes are lead free.
Diameter about 22.5cm
Height about 6.5 cm
All my pottery is made by me in small batches. There may be variations in size, colour and shape making each piece delightfully unique.
This listing is for 1 bowl.
