Item details

Cute little felted robin redbreast to hang on your Christmas tree. A perfect little ornament to fill a stocking, homemade cracker or advent calendar pocket. Approximately 4cm x 2.5cm x 2.5cm, plus hanging loop. Made entirely of natural sheep wool by the technique of needle felting.

Your robin will be sent to you in creatively reused packaging materials to lighten our pawprint on the planet, please reuse or recycle them if you can. If you would like your robin to be prettily gift wrapped and/or include a Brambly Hedgepig gift tag, please select these options at the checkout. I often make animals from felt, and for Christmas the robin is an obvious choice with his iconic colouring. As a gardener the robin is my regular companion, especially in the springtime when he is right under my spade taking worms and insects for his chicks. Or her chicks - contrary to popular belief the female robins also have a red breast and are hard to distinguish from the males! Don’t forget to fill your bird feeders this winter so the birds can have a happy Christmas too.
