I have named this range MIXT - which in old Scottish dialect means mixed, mingled or combined - a combination of Harris Tweed, Scottish Linen and Vintage Sari Silk
All my products are carefully hand stitched in my studio paying every attention to detail
My aim is for my business to be sustainable and considerate for the environment, using local and UK based suppliers wherever possible. I try to minimise wastage and all my packaging is Eco-Friendly, using recycled and recyclable materials

Full description
This unique purse is made from Harris Tweed, with Scottish Linen Union on the reverse. It would make an ideal gift or a treat for yourself, and is a perfect size to hold a bank card, some cash and a set of keys or even ear buds or jewellery
It is softly padded, lined with Vintage Sari Silk, and finished with a charcoal grey zipper and linen yarn pull
The finished purse is approximately 12cm x 12cm
Harris Tweed is hand woven using traditional methods by Islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland and is the only fabric in the World governed by it's own Act of Parliament. Genuine Harris Tweed products will always carry a label showing the iconic Orb symbol
