Full description
Fused glass hanging tree suncatcher with beautiful rich Autumn colours. Inspired by my love of nature and wildlife and the big mature trees that I see when walking my dog. A beautiful gift, it looks lovely in a window, giving a splash of fresh colour on these cold Winter days.
I hand cut copper foil with a scalpel to make the trunk and branches of the tree and sandwich it between 2 layers of art glass. This is the fused slowly overnight in my kiln. I then add coloured and dichroic dots which I have made previously to give some added interest to the design. A second firing is done overnight the next day to tack fuse the dots onto the design, so that they stand proud of the glass, giving it a 3D effect.
Comes ready to hang on a silver wire.
Item comes securely packaged and wrapped in my signature turquoise tissue paper, sticker and string. A gift message can be included, just contact me to let me know.
