Old glass bottles and brass were recycled in Africa to make these beautiful beads.
Background: The 'lost wax'method of brass bead making means that each individual bead is unique. The largest beads come from The Himalayas and the other plain beads are from Africa. The decorated glass beads are called Krobo beads and have been made in Ghana for centuries in small quantities in local villages, - not in factories!
One of a Kind: This necklace is one of a kind and the beads themselves are handmade. You will be wearing a collection of tiny works of art - and you won't see another one quite like it.
Fastening: This necklace is finished with a matching brass hook and double rings, ,also made in West Africa.
Size: It is 22" long, so would fall at or above a low neckline.
Presentation: Your necklace will be sent in a presentation box ready to give to someone special (or to keep for yourself ).
Gifts: I can send to another address and include a handwritten message if requested.
Postage: I can usually post within 24 hours and postage is free.
Environment: All of my outer packaging is either recycled or reusable.

These African beads are like no others. They are so colourful and the painted glass ones look stunning next to the brass ones.
