Wheel thrown, exploring shapes beyond cylinders and bowls. I'm influenced (often unconsciously) by shapes form the past, these pots became a 'bee skep' shape almost without me realising it! I chose a simple glazing to show the shape off - actually a friend commented they looked like the front of a classic VW camper-van, so if you need a small vase to match your van, maybe this is it...

Full description
A simple two coloured vase in the shape of an old fashioned beehive, or skep. Stoneware ceramic. Glazed creatively in pale oatmeal with blue panels.
Approx 8cm tall, 9cm wide at base, 5cm at rim.
