The inspiration for this yarn came partly from the Zebra skein in this same collection and partly from an animated film (that inspired the Zebra skein too). So it really ended up as a matched pair of yarns!

Full description
Horse is a beautiful yarn that has been hand spun on Arwen, my Kromski Fantasia spinning wheel. The yarn has been dyed to include shades of deep purple, dusky blue and pale green. When used, it will create small stripes of each colour. It would pair nicely with my Circus Zebra colourway from the same collection.
It is made from 100% Alpaca. Alpaca is soft and drapes well, so creates wonderful shawls and scarves. It has no elasticity so I wouldn't recommend this yarn for hats or jumpers.
This yarn was spun and then dyed using acid dyes, citric acid and a dip dye method to create splodges of colour.
100g, approx. 16 WPI, Sport 2 ply, 85m
