This made to order fused glass picture of a magnificent oak tree will make a timeless and atmospheric addition to any room. When making it I wanted to create a little snapshot of summer which can be appreciated in the depths of winter.

The Majestic Oak with its vivid green leaves, is best hung on a plain wall where it can be best admired but can also be placed on a small stand (not included) if you would like to display it on a table or shelf. The picture itself is 12 cm square and is mounted on glass within a 19cm square cm frame. The standard frame is black but if you would prefer a white one, please drop me a message with your order.

The structure of the tree is carefully hand-painted as are the birds flying past; once these parts of the picture are completed, glass is added to suggest the leaves. As each picture is handmade there might be very slight differences from the example displayed here but I will do my best to ensure it as identical as possible. It will take a few days to make so please allow this when placing your order – if you need to picture quickly, please let me know and I will try to help.

For delivery, your picture will arrive securely packaged in a double walled box and with as much eco-friendly material as possible.

I love every aspect of the natural world, from its landscapes and colours to its plants and wildlife but trees have to be one of my favourite living things. I am always amazed by the complexity of their structure and their sheer beauty, even when their branches are bare in winter.

As a keen walker, I am always on the lookout for a great tree to snap on my phone – I must have hundreds of tree images on there! These get used back in my workshop either to create a study in fused glass, like the Majestic Oak or to incorporate into other landscape curves and waves.
