Welcome to my shop Wiktorski Ceramics. Here you will find a variety of hand made products including pottery and cards. Each piece is made purely by hand and each glaze I apply is weighed and mixed by my own fair hands, similar to baking a cake. I was taught the traditional way and each glaze has taken many years to perfect. This makes it totally unique to Wiktorski Ceramics. Each piece is a one off and will not be seen again. Full description
Wire art cage, wire art ceramic sculpture, wire and pottery hanger.
This wire bird cage is made by hand using a brown wire. It has a beautiful handmade ceramic heart hung from the tip of the bird cage.
The piece is sculpted using my fingers and jewellery clippers. It is set in an old metal antique tart dish with natural moss attached to the base.
The ceramic heart is made from stoneware clay and delicately glazed in a pure white colour. I have attached a sweet polka dot ribbon at the top of the bird cage. It also has a number is tiny wooden love hearts strung onto the wire bird cage.
The bird cage is designed to look slightly crooked and misshapen as part of its design to give a shabby chic, antique feel to the style of this piece.
It is made to sit around your home your home on a windowsill, sideboard or table, the options are endless. It can also be hung from the little wire love heart at the top.
Each piece is totally unique and a bespoke piece of art.
Approx size of bird cage including hook and wood- 11 x 25cm.
please note this piece may have sharp edges due to the nature of the wire. Do not let children play with it.
