I have been practicing lidded vessels where the lid is thrown at the same time as the rest of the pot, rather than as a separate item. A separate lid means lots of measuring and risk that it might not fit. With these jars the bowl, lid and even the knob is thrown in one and the lid cut out afterwards.
You have 14 days, from receipt, to notify the seller if you wish to cancel your order or exchange an item.
Unless faulty, the following types of items are non-refundable: items that are personalised, bespoke or made-to-order to your specific requirements; items which deteriorate quickly (e.g. food), personal items sold with a hygiene seal (cosmetics, underwear) in instances where the seal is broken; digital items.
Please note that if your order is being posted outside mainland UK, you (or the recipient) may have to pay customs or VAT charges and a handling fee. The seller is not responsible for any charges or fees that may incur.
This is a beautiful curvy bowl shaped pot with a lid glazed in shiny Marguerite glaze with rainbow patterns around it picked out in different coloured glazes. I love the round feel of this pot cupped in my hand - it feels like the Globe. The lid is cleverly made at the same time as the bowl and cut afterwards so it will always fit, and sits lightly on top of the pot. The bottom is trimmed with a deep foot ring.
It can be used for storing trinkets or other small items. It could also be used for food - e.g. jam or marmalade.
I take time with careful packing using recyclable materials, so don't be surprised if this item doesn't arrive for about a week.
It is hand made, thrown on a wheel, in stoneware clay.
It is fired to 1235oC and will hold water and is heat resistant and food safe.
It is about 6cm tall and about 6cm diameter
