I love the iridescence of bird feathers and the kingfisher has such lovely colours to match the fabric paints that I use, I just couldn't resist making a few of these in altering shades of blue, turquoise and greens and that amazing splash of orange.

Full description
KMP001 - Kingfisher Mandala. Printed then painted fabric wall hanging. I cut my own lino then print and paint the finished design onto stiffened fabric. This one measures 17.5cm round plus mixed, stitched yarn edging and hanging loop with a handmade rolled, painted paper bead. Blue stitching. Plain black on reverse. Whilst fabric paints are colour fast, I would suggest it's hung out of intense or direct sunlight. Thanks for looking Vx
