Full description

This is a beautiful small stained-glass panel of a hare. She has an air of thoughtfulness about her so if you know anybody who loves serious hares then perhaps this would make a lovely present for them.

This panel is hand-painted and handmade by me using traditional methods. There are many stages for making a stained glass panel so I’ll keep it brief :) I begin by drawing up the design then hand cut two pieces of glass one green and one blue. I then mix and apply the paint and then place the two pieces of glass in a kiln and fire it. Once cooled the glass is then leaded and soldered. I then cement the panel and leave over night before removing excess cement and cleaning the panel. Finally I make and solder on the hanging loops.

This small panel is approx 20 by 14cm.

This will be sent first class signed for.
