I love stitching this meadow design and its been a while since my shop had a selection of zipped purses.

A pretty zipped purse, for coins, cards or any other small items, with a hand stitched felted and embroidered meadow design.
The front panel of this purse features a lovely buttercup meadow design. Hand-dyed wool fibres nippets of threads and yarns, saved from other projects, have been felted to a commercial felt background. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to create a scattering of daisies, buttercups and clover.
The back of the purse, and the lining, is a red, blue and white striped, canvas-type fabric. The back and front panels of the purse have been blanket stitched together, by hand, in strong cotton threads. The purse closes with a bright yellow zipper and a tag of bright yellow ribbon, finished with a miniature yellow button, has been added to the zipper pull. I have done my best to photogrpah this item accurately but monitor settings may cause variation in colour.
The purse may be used for cards, coins or any other small items. It is pictured with a few suggestions - jewellery, earphones, sewing kit. (not included)
