I love stitching this meadow design and its been a while since my shop had a selection of zipped purses.

Full description
A pretty zipped purse, for coins, cards or any other small items, with a hand stitched felted and embroidered meadow design.
The front panel of this purse features a lovely buttercup meadow design. Hand-dyed wool fibres have been felted to a commercial felt background using an embellisher machine. Snippets of threads and yarns, saved from other projects, have been felted in place. The 'sky' has been stabilised and given texture by hand stitching using a fine sewing thread. Simple embroidery stitches have been used to create a scattering of daisies, buttercups and clover.
The back of the purse is a red, blue and white striped, canvas-type fabric, backed with fusible interfacing. The back and front panels of the purse have been blanket stitched together, by hand, in cotton threads. The lining of the purse is also the striped canvas fabric, machine stitched and with a bright yellow zipper. The purse outer has been hand stitched to the zipped lining using blue cotton thread. A tag of bright yellow ribbon, finished with a miniature yellow button, has been added to the zipper pull.
The purse may be used for cards, coins or any other small items. It is pictured with a few suggestions - jewellery, earphones, sewing kit. (not included)
