Welcome to Janiemade and my little corner of Folksy where you can buy my crocheted creations. If you're looking for skilfully handmade gifts and home decor I hope you'll find something you love. I enjoy crocheting with natural fibres, mainly cotton, and many of my home decor items use recycled braided cotton cord or recycled cotton T shirt yarn. All items are ready to post and I only charge postage on your first item. Your order will be sent by Royal Mail 2nd class post.

I've always been drawn to owls and I have quite a few at home, mostly given to me by friends and family over the years, it's quite a collection! My business card has an owl on it, of course, so I was keen to find some owls to make and sell too.
I fell in love with this pattern by ATERcrochet as soon as I saw it, as the owls are cute and friendly looking and can be made in endless colour variations, so I can make lots and enjoy experimenting with different colour combinations, no two will be the same. I hope you like them as much as I do.

Full description
This cute crocheted owl is approx. 6cm tall and 5cm wide. She is made from 100% cotton yarn with a pretty wooden floral button stitched on her tummy. She has an orange embroidered beak and her eyes are black embroidered french knots.
The back of the owl is crocheted in pink which is overstitched to the front in the same yarn. She has a crocheted loop on her back with a split metal ring attached which can be removed if you ever want to wash her, (I recommend a gentle hand wash, reshape while damp and dry flat, do not tumble dry). She has a swivel clasp added to the metal ring so she can be easily attached to a bag.
Please note that this is a decorative item with small parts which could be a choking hazard. It is not a toy and should not be given to a child.
