Full description
The gorgeous stone in this handmade silver botanical necklace is labradorite. It's mainly found in Canada where the ancient Canadians believed that the stone must have fallen from the northern lights and was filled with frozen fire. The iridescent colours in it are beautiful.
I have handmade this necklace from a sheet of silver and silver wire. The labradorite is set in a bezel with a circle of wire soldered to the top. I have added a little 5 petal flower and the pendant hangs from a sterling silver chain.

This necklace would make a lovely gift for anyone interested in the natural environment or as a birthday gift or anniversary gift.
