I'm selling off some of my collection of unusual beads to make some space in my workshop, so if you love beads, please take a look

I like to bring East and West together and these African and Asian beads seem made for each other.

Full description

Design elements: A one of a kind necklace with a mixture of old and new beads.

The large chevron trade beads come from the Himalayas, probably Nepal. As they are old, they do show some signs of wear in the form of small nicks around the ends I see this as part of their history and they don't detract from their beauty, but if you like your beads to be perfect, this is probably not the necklace for you. I have reduced the price to reflect the condition of these lovely old beads. The teal glass beads (more green than they appear in the photo) are contemporary and are hand made and kiln fired in Ghana, as are the brass beads which are made in one-off clay moulds, so each is similar but unique. The clasp is also handmade in Africa.

Size: The necklace is 21" long, so suitable for men or women.

Presentation: Your necklace will be sent in a gift bag inside a mailing box. I can send it to another address for you and will include a handwritten note if requested.

Postage: I usually post within 24 hours, first class and signed for.
